Under new ownership and management, The Copperhead Lodge is excited to reopen The Flying Trout Restaurant with a team of professionals who deliver delicious food prepared fresh using locally sourced ingredients when available. We use locally sourced meats, trout and produce whenever possible and prepare our sauces and dressings in-house. Comfort food with local Southern flavor.

Award winning food writer, cookbook author, recipe developer & former food editor of our favorite southern magazine, Sheri Castle, will be designing our seasonal spring special.
Sheri will visit The Copperhead Lodge to share her methods and recipes in a cooking presentation, then we’ll gather around the table to enjoy good food and good friends, both new and old!
