Dueling Pianos! Third Tuesday Every Month

For years the premier Dueling Pianos act in Atlanta, the Andrew’s Brothers are now a fixture at The Copperhead Lodge! The crowd picks the songs, so each show is different —- but ALWAYS fun! Part Comedy Show, Part Concert, and Wholly Entertaining!

The Andrews Brothers take the stage - ringmasters of a hysterical musical battle. Two men. Two pianos. No sheet music. No safety nets. Audience requests and high-energy vibes as one piano launches a volley of classic Billy Joel; the other counters with a fierce, driving Elton John riff. . . The crowd taking sides.

The entire room erupts into a unified, glass-rattling chorus of "Sweet Caroline". The rafters actually shake.

Don't miss Dueling Pianos on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. It’s a night of sing-alongs and great company!

You won’t want to miss our monthly visit from The Andrew’s Brothers!

Blairsville Cruisers Pistons & Pitmasters

This is not just an automobile gathering. This is a congregation of rolling sculpture, curated by the passionate folks of The Blairsville Cruisers.

For the second year, we will be hosting these cars … built by hand, driven by heart, and preserved by sheer willpower.

To compliment the steel showcase, we’ll feature slow-roasted, pit-smoked barbecue. Succulent pork, tender chicken, signature brisket. It is food that requires no pretense. Just wet napkins and an appetite born of the open road.

Join us on the lawn and at The Lodge!

Dueling Pianos - REALLY - We Mean it!

Dueling Pianos - REALLY - We Mean it!

It was a damp Tuesday when the music died at the Copperhead Lodge.

A sudden cancellation.

Devastation.

Grown men wept into their single-malt scotch (you know who you were). The ivory keys silent, cold, mocking.

But now? Redemption.

Welcome to the Copperhead Make-Up Duel. It is not just a dinner; it is an auditory resurrection. Two men. Two pianos. Bound by honor, fueled by the primal urge to out-strum, out-sing, and out-charm the other. You will dine on thick cuts of prime rib while the air crackles with the raw, unfiltered energy of Billy Joel, Neil Diamond and ragtime jazz. It is scandalous. It is celebratory. It is the only way to heal the wounds of a fortnight ago.

The scotch will flow. The music will roar. The past will be forgiven.

Our Fork & Film Series Featuring Fried Green Tomatoes

The lights dim. The projector hums. You are no longer in the North Georgia mountains. You are standing on the dusty, sun-baked tracks of Whistle Stop, Alabama.

The air is thick with the scent of honeysuckle, desperation, and the unmistakable aroma of secrets sizzling in a cast-iron skillet at The Whistle Stop Cafe

This is not a movie night. This is a sensory excavation of the American South. Five courses. Five celluloid milestones. Each dish a culinary echo of the triumphs, tragedies, and unyielding friendships flashing across the silver screen.

Michael Hulett Returns!!!!

Inside the Copperhead Lodge, the air is thick with anticipation and the scent of slow-roasted prime rib. Suddenly, a note cuts through the chatter. It is pure, unfiltered velvet.

Michael Hulett is back!

We tracked him down in Michigan. The Great Lakes couldn’t hold him. We boarded a rain-slicked twin-engine Cessna in Grand Rapids, his sax strapped into the co-pilot seat like a precious, brass-clad dignitary, just to bring this exclusive engagement to you.

As the first course hits the table, Hulett breathes into the reed. It is not just music; it is an auditory expedition. It smells like old jazz clubs in Detroit and feels like a midnight drive down a foggy shoreline. It’s the kind of sound that makes a grown man weep into his Copperhead Mountain Trout.

The Copperhead Lodge dinner show. It is raw. It is sophisticated. It is the only place to be.

Our Passport Series Takes us to Peru! With Special Guest The Sax Man, Michael Hulett

In Lima the fog rolls off the Pacific, heavy with the scent of roasted coriander. That is the feeling we are bringing to The Copperhead Lodge for tonight’s Passport Dinner Series.

The Feast is a Trek Through the Sacred Valley where the mountains meet the sky.

The Beginning: Ceviche classic, cured in lime juice sharp enough to cut glass.

The Journey: Papas a la Huaciana, Arroz Chaufa…

The Summit: Dark chocolate infused with chili, warming your throat like a fire in a stone hut. vs. Crema Volteada / Leche Asada: Peru's version of baked custard or flan. Made with milk, eggs, and sugar, it has a silky texture and is topped with a golden caramel syrup , silky like the voice you hear…

Our trek has a guide. Enter Michael Hulett bringing the sultry breath of the Andes to our

As you take your first sip of the chicha morada, Hulett steps into the light. He raises his saxophone. It isn’t just music; it’s a physical force. The first note cuts through the room like a machete through Amazonian brush. It is sultry. It is dangerous. It sounds exactly like a midnight rendezvous in a smoky jazz club behind the Plaza de Armas.

Grab your Passport - no jet lag at The Lodge for this fabulous evening’s adventure. The mountains are calling, the food is sizzling, the sax is playing…

Sunday Supper - Family Style Dining The Way it Used to Be

Sunday Supper - Family Style Dining The Way it Used to Be

The Flying Trout presents Sunday Supper - a ritual as old as people have lived in these hills. Not "brunch" exactly - that’s a city word for people in too much of a hurry ... This is family style.

The table is a rustic wooden expanse buried under the bounty of the Blue Ridge prepared with love by Matthew.

You'll almost always see fried chicken, golden and  crackly giving way to tender meat; bowls of sides like collard greens that have simmered since the first bird sang in the morning, mashed potatoes, fried okra, corn muffins, biscuits, corn; a fruit cobbler, perhaps peach or blackberry, still bubbling from the oven, all served with a pitcher of iced tea that sweats in the mountain air.

Sit on the creek-side deck or in our dining room. We'll bring bowls of food, you select what suits you. Mountain Casual dining in heart of the hills.

Reservations recommended, but definitely not required.  706-745-8000

Reece's Cider Dinner at The Lodge

July in the Blue Ridge. The air can be thick, heavy - hanging like wool over the Georgia pines. . . The relentless Southern sun draining the very marrow from your bones. You’re parched. Desperate. Retreat to the haven of The Copperhead Lodge, a sanctuary of timber and stone hidden in the hills. Inside, The Flying Trout Restaurant. Five courses. Five liquid elixirs from Reece’s Cider Co. down the road in Ellijay.

Every creation from Reece’s is a crisp, architectural triumph against the elements. It doesn’t just mask the heat; it conquers it. The sharp balance of mountain-grown fruit cuts right through the heavy atmosphere, delivering a clean, electric shock to a paralyzed palate. It’s the liquid equivalent of diving headfirst into a deep, shaded swimming hole under a roaring Appalachian waterfall.

It’s sure to be an immediate rescue from the Southern swelter. 5 courses prepared by our chef’s to compliment the fruity finery of Reece’s!

Our Passport Dinner Series is Bringing it Home

This won’t be just a meal, but a gastronomic odyssey cross the backbone of this great republic.

From the East Coast to Chicago then onward. Perhaps a deep-dish tartlet, thick and oozing with a tomato sauce … St. Louis ribs—charred, sticky, and defiant. We move west, the flavors shifting like the gears of a '55 Fairlane. A Tex-Mex moment or a New Mexican blue corn enchilada? By the time we reach the California coast, you won’t just be full, you’ll be reclaimed - was a boy or girl again, staring at a Rand McNally atlas, dreaming of the white lines and the neon hum of the Blue Swallow Motel along Route 66.

Not just a dinner. It’s the American Dream, served with a side of extra napkins.

A wall of bagpipes that vibrates right through the Blue Ridge Hills.

Men the size of glacial boulders throw telephone poles farther than you can pitch a fit. It defies physics. It defies reason. It demands a sturdy pair of brogues.

A sea of crimson, emerald, and navy wool. Every man is a king in his own mind, wearing the colors of ancestors who fought the English with nothing but iron and spite.

THE SCOTTISH FESTIVAL AND HIGHLAND GAMES ARE AT THE NORTH GEORGIA FAIRGROUNDS! A favorite in these hills for decades!

By dusk, you return to the Lodge. Your boots are caked in red Georgia clay, your ears are ringing with the Piobaireachd, and you have a sudden, inexplicable urge to buy a broadsword.
