The Sax Man's Seasonal Serenade

It’s December 22nd. The relentless pace of the holiday rush is nearly over. At The Lodge, a roaring fire crackles, offering immediate salvation from the winter chill and the hectic pace. Settle into a corner booth. Your server pours a robust Cabernet while the kitchen prepares a slow-braised prime rib. And then, it happens.

Michael Hulett steps into the soft glow of the dining room. He positions his saxophone like a precious, brass-clad dignitary. He breathes into the reed. It isn't merely seasonal music; it’s an auditory expedition. The velvety, sultry notes drift over the timber beams, wrapping around the room like a heavy cashmere scarf.

Suddenly, the chaos of the Christmas season vanishes. There is only the crisp snap of mountain air, the rich melt-in-your-mouth flavor of fresh trout, and a hauntingly beautiful rendition of Silent Night that could make a grown man weep into his single-malt scotch.

It’s sophisticated. It’s comforting. It’s MIchael Hulett, The Sax Man.
